The Sage FLi
Series rods were developed using G5 Technology, combining a
fast-action taper with an incredibly smooth power curve. This means
you'll be able to generate high line speed and still feel the rod
loading for maximum power transfer and efficiency. The result? You
will naturally and intuitively cast better when the pressure's on. FLi
rods are built with a wider-diameter, thin-walled blank construction
for fast recovery and lighter weight. They feature resin-impregnated
wood reel seat inserts (anodized aluminum on rod weights 7-10),
British-made snake guides and high-grade Portuguese cork grips, just
what you'd expect from a Sage rod.

designed to be a lightweight carry-on. It is rugged yet sleek. The
aluminum shell has aluminum corner reinforcement that is rounded and
smooth. The Steel riveted corner protectors are low profile. A full
piano hinge controls the case top and a locking latch gives the user
the option of extra security. The four individual rod compartments are
lined with waterproof foam. A contoured handle with molded polymer
grip surface and a detachable web carry strap accomplishes handling
