Without
question one of the latest, and most effective, trends to
infiltrate fly-fishing over the past few years is Czech
nymphing. In essence it is short-line, deep-water nymphing
that presents the fly (or flies) at the correct depth
under a drag-free scenario. The traditional flies that are
employed are weighted and tied to resemble fresh water
shrimp or caddis larva and pupa. Since most of our
watersheds in the northeast support this forage you can
anticipate how effective Czech nymphing has become.
Throughout the 2010 season we will be stocking 18 of the
most celebrated Czech nymph patterns including, the UV
Czech Nymph, Cased Caddis Czech Nymph, Czech Nymph Rainbow
and Hydropsyche Czech Nymph just to name a few. All Lower
